A 78-year-old man has been referred to the clinic with complaints of weight loss, right-sided chest pain, lower back pain, and general fatigue. He has no significant medical history. Upon examination, his Hb level is 96 g/L, platelet count is 399 * 109/L, and WBC count is 10.2 * 109/L. His urine Bence Jones test is positive.
