A 42-year-old patient has been admitted with a very swollen and painful right knee. He was unable to walk on it so came into hospital. It is currently being treated as gout with non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. You notice he is of short stature, has shortened arms and legs and a flat nasal bridge.
