MRCP2-0168
A 26-year-old female presents to the clinic with complaints of experiencing heart palpitations on several occasions. She describes the sensation as if her heart skips a beat. She denies any pre-syncope or syncope. She reports having one episode every few days. The patient consumes around 30 units of alcohol per week and drinks several cups of coffee daily.
The physician orders a 7-day cardiac holter monitor, and the results show a PR interval of 100ms, QRS duration of 110ms, and 24 single ectopics with normal P wave morphology and a QRS of 110ms. What would be the most appropriate initial management plan?
