A 25-year-old female presents to the Emergency department with symptoms of shaking shivers, sweats, nausea, and diarrhea. She has a history of acute myeloid leukemia and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. On examination, her temperature is 39.4°C, blood pressure is 90/55 mmHg, and heart rate is 136 beats per minute. Her blood work shows low levels of hemoglobin, white blood cells, and platelets. How would you approach the management of this patient?
