A mother brings in her 2-day-old baby girl to the GP surgery. She expresses concern about some white discharge from the baby’s vagina. Upon examination, a small amount of mucoid white discharge is observed at the entrance of the vagina. The external appearance of the genitalia is otherwise normal.
