MRCOG Part 2 Overview

The MRCOG Part 2 Examination assesses a candidate's ability to apply knowledge in clinical scenarios pertinent to obstetrics and gynaecology. Successful completion is required before progressing to the MRCOG Part 3 Examination.

The exam consists of two papers, each contributing 50% to the final score. Within each paper, SBAs account for 40% of marks and EMQs for 60%. A combined pass mark is determined through standard-setting for each exam - there is no separate pass mark for SBAs and EMQs.
